Our Care
Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.
Our optometrist takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

doctor of optometry
Dr. Teresa Hsu
Dr. Teresa Hsu graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham, School of Optometry in 2005, she received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2001. Over the years she has been the recipient of several awards, namely, the Georgia Optometric Association Community Service Award, the Frederic and Marion Rosemore Family Foundation Scholarship for Exemplary Primary Care Service Award and the Optometric Academic Excellence Award from the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Hsu has been practicing for 9 years and in that time she has come to specialize in Primary care, Dry eyes and Computer Vision Syndrome. She belongs to the Georgia Optometric Association, Energeyes Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Hsu loves her work. She chose the field of optometry because she enjoys meeting new people and is intrigued by the eye. She says there is never a dull moment in this field, whether it is an interesting patient or an interesting eye condition, she learns something new everyday!
Dr. Hsu likes to emphasize the importance of regular eye exams because of the following story: A patient thanked her for saving his life after diagnosing his mini stoke and uncontrolled high blood pressure during his eye exam. He had not been to his primary care doctor for many years. His only symptom was a headache and a mild eye lid droop for a few days. After his appointment with her he was admitted to the hospital that day for treatment.
Dr. Hsu grew up in Marietta, GA (the suburbs of Atlanta). As she loves everything about Atlanta, the weather, the size, the people, it is no surprise that she remained here to start a practice and raise a family. She is married, has two young energetic boys (2.5 years and 7 months) and a beloved Yorkshire Terrier.
